3D Revit Model of Apartment in South Bank Tower, London

Terrain Surveys completed a full 3D measured survey and produced a detailed Revit model of a 31st floor apartment in London’s South Bank Tower.

South Bank Tower is a 41-storey development that is a distinctive landmark on London’s cultural mile. Terrain Surveys worked with Al-Jawad Pike Architects on a luxury fit out of a corner apartment overlooking the Thames on the 31st floor.

The Terrain Surveys team spent 2 hours on site using the latest 3D laser scanning techniques to capture all measurements within the apartment as a point cloud. This was then used as a basis for the Revit model which took less than 2 days to complete. The Revit model has since been used by Al-Jawad Pike for interior design and client presentations.

Construction began in 2013 on the South Bank Tower. Residents are already being welcomed in to the building and all apartments are due for completion by early 2018.
