Professional surveyor since 1987 ONC in Land Surveying from De Havilland College. Neil has extensive experience of large measured building surveys, site engineering and monitoring. He particularly enjoys the challenge of difficult and testing projects.

John Lane MCInstCES
– Director –
Land surveyor and senior surveyor since leaving Nottingham Trent University in 1996. Widely experienced in large measured building survey projects, laser scanning and engineering surveying, in the UK and the Middle East.
Graham King TCInstCES
– Director –
Graham joined Terrain Surveys in 2006 as a Measured Building Surveyor & has progressed through the ranks to become the Survey Manager With specialist experience in measured surveys and laser scanning. Graham was made a director in 2019 and is responsible for the day to day operations of the business and managing all survey work. Graham has an honours degree in Surveying and Mapping Sciences from the University of East London and qualified from The Survey Association school in 2004
– CAD Manager –
Phill joined Terrain Surveys in 2005 and became CAD Manager in 2016. He has extensive experience in producing 2D and 3D models alongside survey drawings and manages a team of CAD technicians. Phill has an honours degree in Surveying & Mapping Sciences from the University of East London.
– Training Manager & Senior Surveyor –
Tony joined Terrain Surveys in 2007 as Training Manager and Senior Surveyor and is responsible for building surveys, checking other surveyors’ final drawings, and the training of all new employees. He has experience of GIS, surveys for new build projects and is responsible for all site training on surveying techniques. Tony has an ONC in Surveying.
– Senior Surveyor –
Richard joined Terrain Surveys in 2015 as Senior Surveyor. Highly experienced in managing large projects from concept to completion and working to a client’s specific needs, he specialises in large measured building surveys, using all relevant technology from laser scanning to the latest 2D and 3D software packages.
Nick Metivier GCInstCES
– Equipment Manager –
Nick joined Terrain Surveys after completing his A Levels and became Equipment Manager in 2015. He has extensive experience in managing both projects and equipment, including calibration, repairs and fault logs. Nick has an honours degree in Surveying & Mapping Sciences from the University of East London.
