Residential Topographical Survey in Amersham, Buckinghamshire
Overview
Our long-standing client, an award-winning Hertfordshire-based garden designer, instructed Terrain Surveys to undertake this residential topographical survey in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, ahead of a garden design project. Two of our experienced topographical surveyors attended site in March 2024 to undertake the survey.
The Challenge
In just a single day, our surveyors captured all site features, both natural and man-made, such as the outbuildings, fences, and changes of surface. The survey area included both the sizeable rear garden and a large driveway. Terrain Surveys boast two decades of experience supporting garden designers and landscape architects and we therefore appreciate that certain site features, such as the DPC level and ground-floor window heights are often required, which we have come to draw as standard. Once the team had finished the on-site survey, they returned to our head office to process the site data.
The Result
As with all surveys we undertake, we were pleased to ensure that this topographical survey was completed on-time and to the agreed budget. The survey drawings were delivered to our client in both 2D and 3D format, which can be easily imported to popular design software such as SketchUp and Vectorworks.
