Survey Brief

We were commissioned by consulting engineers working on behalf of the temple to provide a set of comprehensive survey drawings including floor plans, elevations and sections. A measured survey was required to support a programme of refurbishment work to the fabric and roof of the temple building.

Key Facts

  • A comprehensive survey schedule was provided and all survey work completed with minimal disruption to the day to day running of the temple
  • Using 3D laser scanning for the building survey allowed us to complete the work quickly, providing a highly accurate comprehensive set of data of the ornate features
  • Prior to issuing the final survey deliverables the survey was checked to our stringent QA checking procedures
  • As well as a set of 2D CAD drawings we also provided a Truview file which allowed the customer to view and use the pointcloud data via the panoramic viewing tool
  • The survey was completed within the agreed timescales and to a tight budget
